Open Houses
IPSB holds open houses for the Massage Technician Training regularly throughout the year; see brochure insert for dates or contact the school. Staff members demonstrate techniques and introduce the Institute’s philosophy. These orientations are very helpful in presenting to students the warm and creative learning environment found at IPSB.
Enrollment Requirements
The prerequisites for enrollment in the Massage Technician Training are:

Students may enroll in the Massage Technician Training at any time during the year. See schedule insert for upcoming classes.
Enrollment in the advanced courses of study are dependent on the successful completion of the prerequisite courses of study as indicated in each program description. Information on scheduled starting dates for advanced courses is available through the IPSB business office.
All instruction is in English. IPSB offers no visa or
language services.
Transfer Credits
Credits for advanced science courses taken at state approved institutions other than IPSB will be applied toward IPSB science requirements if taken within three years prior to enrollment at IPSB. Applicants who have studied sciences over three years prior to enrollment may choose exemption from course participation by passing all course exams and paying an adjusted tuition fee.
Students enrolling in advanced classes who have not completed the IPSB Massage Technician Program must submit documentation from an approved school showing equivalent training. Acceptance in advanced technique classes may be subject to instructor evaluation and involve a fee.
Applications
An application for enrollment is enclosed. All questions must be answered in detail.
Interview Process
After the completed enrollment application is received, the applicant will be contacted to schedule an appointment for an interview with an IPSB staff member. This interview is to evaluate the application and to complete the IPSB orientation.
Registration Fee
A $75 registration fee is required to process the enrollment application. This fee must accompany the application in order for enrollment to be considered. It is not part of the tuition, nor is it refundable.
Acceptance Into the Program
After the applicant and the application have been evaluated, the interviewer will determine if the IPSB program and the prospective student are compatible. A confirmation of acceptance will be mailed to the student upon completion of the interview process.
Tuition
Tuition for the courses is as follows:
$1500 Massage Technician
$5877 Massage Therapist
A 5 percent discount is applied when entire Massage Technician or Therapist Training tuition is paid in full at time of contract.
Payment Plans
Payment in full for any course of study may be made at the time of registration. However, installments that run over the duration of a class can be arranged in advance through the business office. Tuition financing is available for the Massage Technician and Massage Therapist Training. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
